Troop 42 also meets every week on Mondays at the Covenant Congregational Church. If you would like to join email us at [email protected].
Meetings are from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Covenant Congregational Church, 204 Center Street in North Easton. Parents are encouraged to stay for the announcements at the beginning, and during the last 15 minutes of each meeting to know what is happening in the Troop. Our Troop is divided into Patrols. We stay in these groups for announcements, and at Patrol Corners. The structure of our meetings usually follow this plan: Opening Announcements; either a Scout-related Activity (knots, maps and compass work etc.), a Merit Badge, or preparing for a Campout; Game or Group Activity; and Closing Announcements. Parents do not have to stay for the whole meeting, but occasionally they may be asked to be part of a Boy Scout Board of Review.
