As a reminder the Pancake Breakfast will be held on Nov 7 at the church. Please review these few notes:
a) Placemat ads - The Troop is actively looking for local businesses interested in adopting an ad on the placemat. If you know a business that you can approach, please let me know. Advertisers will get a complimentary ticket to the breakfast and our eternal gratitude.
b) Silent Auction items - We will be running our silent auction again this year.If you would like to donate something to the auction, or know a business that will donate something please also let me know.
c) Jake Ryan will be coordinating Big-Day work shifts for the Scouts. All Scouts are expected to work a shift as the funds off set all Scouting activity and equipment costs.
d) The committee has arranged for four slots with Roche Bros and Shaws to handout flyers and tickets. Scouts are expected to participate to help get the word out. We will look for an adult to be with them too. Jake Ryan will also be coordinating shift signups.
e) There will be a committee meeting September 22nd, and if necessary follow up meetings October 6th, and October 20th as we finalize the work to be completed. We will be looking for help on the Friday night before and of course lots jobs to fill on the big day.
f) This Monday, Scouts will be handed 10 tickets with which to sell. The Scouts have voted to award the Scout who sells the most with a $25 gift card to Bass Pro Shop, and most importantly a Camping-Duty-Roster-Immunity-Idol. Don't worry - we've got more tickets to sell. Please do what you can to encourage sales, as without this.. there is no fundraiser! Tell your friends, neighbors, family members, etc.
g) For your information, when selling a ticket please circle the $5 per Person or $20 per Family (up to 6) depending on which the buyer selected.
