.)Scouts should remember to return all Troop gear tonight, as we will be getting ready for the next couple of campouts. Please see Samarth’s earlier e-mail for additional information.
.)Scouts and Adults need to sign up for the Class “B” shirt, if you need one or have out grown your old one. The red Class “B” shirt is required for the West Point Camporee, so please sign up tonight as the order is going in tomorrow.
.)All Scouts planning to attend West Point are required to attend all meeting between now and our trip to West Point, as the Troop will be working towards getting ready for this trip and everyone should be properly prepared.
.)Scouts should remember to bring in their Summer Camp Merit Badge selection sheet, so that we can make sure everyone is properly registered for Summer Camp.
.)Scouts planning on attending the April 11th backpacking trip should come prepared tonight to begin planning for that trip.
.)Reminder that the Troop will be holding elections for the positions of Senior Patrol Leader and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader at tonight’smeeting. Those Scouts that are elected will hold the positions until June, at which point we will likely be restructuring the Troop’s Patrols and overall youth Leadership for the Summer and Fall. (More details to be provided at tonight’s meeting)
.)Finally, if time permits, we will begin reviewing the results of the First Aid Quiz that the Scouts took last week. Scouts should definitely be reviewing the First Aid Advancement requirements in order to get signed off, as the test results were definitely not favorable to having a working knowledge of the required material.
