a) Departure - We will meet at the church early Saturday Morning, 6am.  We have a couple hour drive and a couple hour hike, at the least.  We're traveling out of council, wear your class-A (unless you're a new Scout that hasn't yet obtained your uniform.)  We can remove them once we get to the trail head and leave them in the car.

b) Return - Probably between 2 and 3 on Sunday at Tedeschi village Shoppes lot.  As usual we'll call as we near about 20 minutes away.

c) Money for Food -  If there is an asterisk (*) near your name in the email that was recently sent out, please bring $10 for food when you arrive Saturday morning.

d) Fishing Gear - If you plan to fish, be sure you can fold your pole and attach it vertically if necessary to your backpack.  Also, I'd suggest a small packable tackle-box and extra line.  We do not want to see anyone carrying fishing poles or tackle-boxes by hand - you want to keep your hands free while hiking.

e) Water and Snacks - Everyone should bring two full nalgenes for drinking and cooking.  Also, everyone is on their own for snacks.  I'd suggest granloa, dried fruit, energy bars, trail mix, so on but not candy.  Make sure it's packed in a labeled bag.

f) Clothing - While rain is not presently expected, do be prepared.  Bring rain gear.  It will get down to low 40's at night, so be sure to have fleece, wool sweater, long pants/shirt, etc.

g) Toiletries - please be sure to pack them in a labeled bag as we will be in bear country and need to place these and all food items in the bear bag at night.  Also, this is backcountry camping, bring TP or know your leaves.  Do not bring a whole roll else you'll just get it ruined and have to carry it back out.

h) Packing Reminder - By this point, everyone should know what needs to be packed, and how to pack it.  No one should be carrying something by hand, as above we need our hands free.
